THE VICTORY SHOP

STAMPS AS MEMENTOS The activities of “ The Stamp Man ” at the Victory Shop continue to bring results. Many useful contributions of used stamps are coming in, a notable one being 12 very old 6d English stamps still attached to the original pieces of envelope. The postmarks are clear —1859, 1860, 1861. It has been decided to make these stamps available as momentos—one to each of the first 12 donors who contribute a “ note ” to “The Song of Victory,” Send a 10s note for T ‘ The Song of Victory,” and receive. a rare Id stamp as a souvenir, or send a £1 note and receive a stamp and have your name inscribed in the “ Victory Book,” Dunedin’s record of her citizens' liberality to her sons and daughters who fight and endure hardship for our freedom.
