AWARDED THE D.F.M.
A MASTERTON AIRMAN (N.Z.P.'A. Special Correspondent) (Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON. May 12. Flight Sergeant I. J. McLachlan. of Masterton, a member of the New Zealand Bomber Squadron, has been awarded the D.F.M. The squadron has been in many recent raids, including Stuttgart twice and St. Nazaire, Kiel, and Paris. There have been no casualties.
