FURTHER REPRISALS
FRENCH HOSTAGES EXECUTED (Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON, May 8. The Germans announced that five French hostages were executed in Paris. Fifty others have been sentenced to death as a reprisal for an attack on a German soldier on May 2. The Germans threatened to send 500 hostages to work in a camp in East Germany if the attackers are not discovered.
