A total of 775 books from the stock of the Public Library is to be given to the War Service Library, according to a decision reached by the Canterbury College Council. The college committee reported that it had given approval to a scheme whereby students in military camps applying for exemption from lectures were permitted to remain on the books of the college to which they were attached before entering camp.
