VISIT TO R.A.F. STATION RUGBY, May 6. Wearing the uniform of an air commodore, the Duke of Item to-day visited an R.A.F. maintenance unit in North Wales. The visit was informal. The Duke was particularly interested in a group of Polish tradesmen receiving instruction in the engine shed from a member of the R.A.F. The Duke chatted with a number of young pilots undergoing elementary flying training, and visited many workshops. where he saw service women in overalls and baltledress working side by side with R.A.F. tradesmen.'
