SEVEN DAYS' LEAVE SAME PRIVILEGES AS OTHEfc TUNITS,>V ; -\-'- Up to the present, men in coast defence units have not received the seven days' leave at home which has been granted to other sections of the territorial force. From how on, however, this leave will be given to coast defence units.' It was explained by the army authorities yesterday that, owing to the carrying out of certain necessary coast defence work, it was found impossible to grant the seven days' leave as has been the case with other territorial units. For security reasons, it is not possible to divulge the nature of this work. Now that further drafts have been posted to the coast defence units, however, it will be possible in future to grant the seven days' leave. Those men on coast defence with the longest service will be given the first opportunity to take the leave, amk* other men will-follow on until all shared in the furlough.. * :.■;... ,-W
