J, Weather In bonedin.—Mild, overcast conditions prevailed in Dunedin on Saturday, although in the late aftarnoon a south-easterly breeze brought down the temperature. The maximum reading for the day < was 60 degrees. The barometer was steady at around 30.15 inches (1021 millibars). A shower fell yesterday morning and conditions were dull for a time, but-gave way to bright sunshine, which prevailed for most of the day. A light north-easterly wind was blowing. The barometer,, after, a slight drop in the early hours of the morning, rose again and maintained a steady level at about 30.10 inches (1020 millibars).
