QUESTIONS BY MEMBERS (F.0.P.R.) WELLINGTON, Feb. 5. , Information whether or hot the Government was taking steps to exchange representatives between New Zealand and the Soviet Union and China was sought by Mr J. A. Lee (Democratic Labour, Grey Lynn) in notice of a question to be asked on behalf of himself and Mr W. E. Barnard (Democratic Labour, Napier) in the House of Representatives to-day.
"Australia,” Mr Lee said. “ has appointed a Minister to China and Canada and is making a similar appointment to the Soviet Union.” The Prime Minister, Mr Fraser: Au»tralia has a larger population than we have. We will exhaust our people.” A suggestion that steps should be taken to mark the roofs of the.hospital buildings clearly in order to avoid the possibility of their becoming targets for raiders was made by Mr H. E. Combs (Govt., Wellington Suburbs), in notice of a question to the Minister of Health, Mr A. H. Nordraeyer.
