BRITAIN'S FINANCES
(Rec. 7 p.m.) RUGBY, Feb. 3. For the first 10 months of the financial year Britain's revenue amounted to £865,666,000, compared with £530,041,000 in the same period last year. The excess profits tax and national defence contributions havp produced over £221.000,000, which i.< already more than the estimate for the whole year. The expenditure reached a total of £3,898,832.194 in the 10 months, compared with £3,107,424,839 for the same period last year.
