AMERICAN NAVY
100,000 VOLUNTEERS WASHINGTON, (Rec. 10.30 p.m.) Feb. 3. One hundred thousand men have volunteered for the navy since ~December 7, states a Navy Department announcement. The Secretary of the Navy, Colonel Frank Knox, hopes to secure the total requirements by voluntary enlistment, bringing the naval strength to 500,000 men.-
