A resident of Hokitika recently secured a strange fish which was washed up on the Hokitika beach. It resembled an Atlantic salmon, but had a tail similar to a groper. No definite identification of the fish could be secured at Hokitika, and it was decided to send it to the Canterbury Museum. Kaitangata Coal always gives satisfaction—obtainable from all coal merchants. Advt.
