The Egyptian Cabinet resigned after student demonstrations against the Government, says the Cairo r correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain. THE NEW MINISTRY CONSULTATIONS IN CAIRO (Rec. 0.15 a.m.) RUGBY, Feb. 3. A meeting took place on Monday afternoon between King Farouk,- of Egypt, and the British Ambassador, Sir Miles Lampson, according to press messages from Cairo. It is officially stated that the Cairo consultations concerning the constitution of the new Cabinet will begin to-day. 'Following the visit bv the secretarygeneral of the Wafdist Party to the chief of the Cabinet, there we're rumours in Cairo of the possible formation of a Wafdist Ministry or at least of the party's sharing the responsibility of government. The Wafd Party has the largest popular following of any of the Egyptian parties, but owing to the fact that it refused to participate in the last general election it has virtually no representation in Parliament.
