INTERNED IN CHINA
BRITISH AND AMERICAN SUBJECTS (Rec. 8.15 p.m.) CHUNGKING. Feb. 2. Smuggled letters received from Hankow,. Peiping, and Tientsin revealed that the Japanese have interned virtually all the British and American subjects. The Japanese have not maltreated them, but they are unable to obtain adequate food and clothing.
