A chimney fire in Ryehill street, Caversham, was attended by a machine from the South Dunedin Fire Station about 5.15 p.m. yesterday, and a malicious false alarm from the old Post Office building in Dowling street, City, was answered by a machine from the Central Station at 6.45.
