AMERICA'S PROGRAMME
WASHINGTON, (Rec. 11 p.m.) Jan. 28. The Senate completed legislative action "on the 12,557,000,000-dollar Army Appropriations Bill to provide funds to build 23,000 fighting planes and 10,000 training planes. The measure was passed after a debate lasting only 27 minutes.
