RAIDERS OVER MALTA
(Rec. 7 p.m.) RUGBY. Jan. 28. Enemy fighters crossed the Maltese coast yesterday afternoon, according to an agency message from the island. Hurricanes engaged the raiders, but no claims have been made. Anti-air-craft defences engaged raiders on Tuesday night, and four alerts were heard. A single enemy aircraft crossed over and dropped bombs, causing negligible damage, but no casualties.
