Chaplain Captain W. H. Greenslade, minister of Central Methodist Church, Invercargill, has been granted indefinite leave of absence. The officials of the church propose, to request the New Zealand Methodist Conference, which' will sit in Wellington next month, to appoint a minister to superintend the circuit temporarily. Chaplain Captain Greenslade is attached to the Otago Regiment in mobilisation camp.
