MOUNTED RIFLE UNIT
There are vacancies in the 9th (Taieri) Independent Mounted Rifles for a number of volunteers who can provide their own horses. The Otago area military authorities have searched the latest ballot, and observed that numerous suitable men would be available for the Taieri unit.
