DRESSING-GOWN COST LIFE
LONDON, Dec. 10. A woman who would not leave a burning house without her dressinggown was found suffocated. She was Mrs Mary Jane Thompson, aged 32, of Camden Town. . . Jack Chadwick stated at the inquest at St. Pancras that he attempted to drag her out of the room. She pulled her hand away and said. “I am not going out without a dressinggown.” He lost her in the smoke. The verdict was accidental death.
