THE CAPTURE OF TAMSHUI
(Rec. 11.20 p.m.) CHUNGKING. Jan. 27. The Chinese fighting against the Japanese all along the Canton-Kowloon railway captured Tamshui and inflicted 400 casualties. In the Honan Province the Chinese destroyed _an important Japanese military highway near Sinyang, and killed 200 Japanese, and also repulsed the Japanese attempts to capture positions near Chungmow.
