SWIMMING CENTRE
WEEKLY RACES TO BE RESUMED At a meeting of the Otago Centre of the New Zealand Swimming Association last night it was decided to resume the weekly series of handicap races on Tuesday, February 10. A suggestion was made that territorials should be catered for and it was stated that support woiild be forthcoming from one camp. Mr W. A. Jenkins presided at the meeting. The New Zealand Council wrote agreeing to the use, in the centre’s colours, of the association's monogram for the centre’s blazer with the words “ Otago Centre ” beneath the monogram. It was decided to draw up rules for the issue of the blazer later. The Kiwi Club was granted permission to hold a dual meeting at Dunedin, with the West End Club (Timaru) on February 28.
