SOLDIER KILLED
STRUCK BY EXPRESS Struck about 10.15 a.m. to-day near Paramata by the north-bound Welling-ton-Napier express. Corporal A. J. Gape, aged 47, a National Reservist, received injuries from which he died : n the ambulance en route to the Wellington Hospital. He served in the last war. sailing with the Main Body. He was married, with three children.
