MISS ASHWORTH RETIRES

Miss Clarice Ashworth, who has retired from the position of principal of Columba College. Dunedin, will shortly leave for Australia, to take up a position as principal of the Presbyterian Ladies’ College 1 in Armidale, the. educational centre for the northern district of New South Wales. Miss Ashworth, who is an Australian, nevertheless has-a strong link with New Zealand, as her mother was a member of

the Marsden family, and had a close family association with Samuel Marsoen. .
