INSTITUTE OF ELECTRICIANS
The first meeting of the Otago branch of the New Zealand Institute of Electricians was held last night, there being a good attendance. The rules brought forward by the committee were adopted. The following were elected the first Officers of the branch:—Patron, Mr G. T. Edgar; president, Mr H. S. Jack, vice-president, Mr J. Martin; secretary, Mr C. H. McKeich; treasurer, Mr A. E. Grey; executive members, Messrs F. L. Crosbie, O. R. Cathro, F. C. Davey, W. McCammon, N. Edmenscn, and G. Sherrlff; trustees, Messrs E. Young and W. P. Macdougall. A letter was received from the secretary of the New Zealand Institute congratulate ing the branch on its successful start. and enclosing a donation from the •‘funds of; the institute.
