CONFERENCES (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 16. . The Student Christian ■ Movement Conference, which was "to have been held at Auckland from December 29 to January 7, bas. been cancelled owing to the present; conditions, but rt is hoped to arrange local, conferences in each centre, and a meeting' of the General Committee in Wellington from January 7 to, 10. The New Zealand Presbyterian Youth Summer Conference, which this year was to be held at Napier; has been cancelled. The: committee urges intending delegates to remain at. their posts and to be ready to respond to calls made by the civic and' State authorities. •-'»•
