WOMEN WAR WORKERS
CHRISTMAS MESSAGE FROM 'MAYORESS "At the close of a very full year of patriotic effort, it ( gives me much pleasure to look back on the many happy associations I have had with women workers, both in the city of Dunedin and throughout the various
zones of the Otago Provincial Patriotic Council. "It has been an inspiration to me to meet so many women whose chief thought has been the welfare of our boys with the forces overseas, and I desire to thank all who have co-oper-ated so wonderfully in patriotic activities and the work of the Lady Galway Guild. • "I earnestly hope that the coming year will be a brighter one for us all.— Yours sincerely (signed) E. Allen (Mayoress of Dunedin)." . .
