THE HOUSE OF COMMONS
ORIGINAL DRAWINGS FOUND : . .mjGBY.-bec.yii The possibility that the House of Commons may be rebuilt exactly as it was before its partial destruction in an air raid last spring is seeri in a press statement that the original drawings of Sir Charles Barry, architect of the Palace of Westminster, have been found in an attic in Cheam, Surrey, in the course of a hunt for paper salvage. The drawings, it is stated, had lain in linen bags at the home of Mr C. J. Marshall, architect, since his student days 60 years ago; Details of the missing parts of the ch.am-. tier are included, and it has been possible to fit them exactly with those which the fire did not destroy. Particulars of the Speaker's table and despach boxes are given. i • .
