A JAPANESE CLAIM
THE ARIZONA SUNK (Rec. 8.30 p.m.) TOKIO, Dec. 13. A communique claims that the Arizona was sunk off Hawaii in addition to the two United States battleships already reported sunk. The Arizona, of 32,600 tons, is one of the two Pennsylvania class battleships. She was launched in 1915 and later underwent extensive reconstruction.
