The St. Clair-Caversham Sub-centre will close down for the year on Thursday next. The date for ,resuming duties in the coming year will be advised later through this column. The committee wishes to thank all who have helped during the year, and trusts that when the sub-centre reopens it will receive the same loyal support. i Headquarters, Dunedln Centre The work for the year at the Dunedin Centre Red Cross Guild rooms has now drawn to a close. The guild room has had a strenuous year, but always the duties have been carried out with the loyal support and cooperation of all the members. The thanks of headquarters are extended to all its sub-centres, Junior Red Cross workers. Church and Sewing Guilds, echelon packers and other organisations and all individuals who have contributed to: the , success of the work during this time.': v Social Evening A social to the voluntary aids taking up service, and the presentation of the Montecillo Cup will take place this evening at the R.SJV. Hall, Moray place, at 7.45 p.m. All voluntary aids and commandants are welcome.
