Spittle; sponge—Miss E. McKenzie 1. Miss S. Lindsay 2, Mfss J. McCall 3; bowl of flowers —Mrs' J. McCall 1, Miss M. McCall 2. Miss S. Lindsay 3; Ratanui Mrs Rodgers presided. Roll call: "General knowledge question.' Competition: Chocolate' cakeMrs Shaw, jun Gifts were received for the Services Welcome Club. Competition: A rose—Mrs Shaw, jun. 1,, Mrs Sheed 2, Mrs Craigie 3. Annual results:—Mrs Shaw, jun., I, Mrs Brown, Mrs Craigie and Mrs Rodgers (equal) 2. Miss Falconer gave a demonstration on crochet-covered coathangers. Mrs McTaggart and Mrs Shaw, iun., were hostesses.
Cromwell.—Mrs Radford presided. Members of Bannockburn branch were present. Mrs Annan read a letter from the W.D.F.U. president urging .members to supply woollen goods to the mercantile marine and to continue to help patriotic work.. Bloom competition: Mrs Jelly Hostesses: Mrs MacMillan. Mrs Ritchie and Mrs Smith.
