"THROUGH THE STUDIO DOOR"
Preceded by a matinee performance which should provide an excellent opportunity for children to witness a programme of ideal entertainment, the Lily Stevens Dance Group will, in conjunction with the theatre management, produce the novel dance divertissement, " Through the Studio Door," at His Majesty's Theatre next Saturday.. For the first hour the screen will hold the stage, when George Formby will appear in his funniest comedy, " Come On, George." The balance of the programme will then be entrusted to the group, and there is much in store for those who delight in watching young performers in action. Many of the episodes from such favourite films as "Gulliver's Travels," " Pinnochio," " The Wizard of Oz." " Snowhite," " Ferdinand the Bull" and " Mytyl," from " The Bluebird," will be depicted -in full character, and the scene depicting "Ferdinand the Bull" in particular should provide some hilarious moments. The more serious part of the programme will be occupied with the presentation of " Russian Ballet Memories of Sylphides," " Dance of the Little Swans," and the beautiful' variations from "Aurora's Wedding." one of the spectacular ballets danced and enjoyed by the many who witnessed the performances of the Russian Ballet. Theire will be only one evening performance.
