GOLF
Otago Ladies' Club.—The annual general meeting of the Otago. Ladies' Club was held in the club rooms on Tuesday, the president, Miss B. Glendining, occupying the chair. There was an attendance of over 50 members. Miss Glendining referred to the less the club had suffered by the deaths of Mrs Gilray, a life member, and Miss C. Williams, both members of long standing. Mrs J. A. Cook was elected a life member of the club in recognition of her service to and her keen interest in the affairs of the club over many years. The following officebearers for the year were elected:—President. Miss Cook: vice-president, Mrs McDougall; captain, Mrs D. Irvine; deputy captain. Miss Kyle; committeeMrs Callender, Mrs Mitchell,. Mrs Sims and Miss L. McCarthy; secretary and treasurer. Miss D. McHutcheson. The distribution of prizes won during the year then took place.
St Clair Ladles' Club.—An interclub match, Otago v. St. Clair, will be played on Monday, commencing at 12.30 p.m. The teams are as follows (Otago names being first):—Miss K. Shand v. Mrs McCarthy, Mrs Caffln v; Mrs Wight, Mrs Irvine v. Mrs Justice, Miss Kyle v, Mrs Burrowes. Mrs Stirling v. Mrs Burn, Mrs Sim, v. Mrs M. Jones. Mrs Callender v. Mrs Crimp. Mrs Sime v. Mrs Sherriff, Mrs A. SmelUe v. Mrs Alan Jones, Mrs Stevenson,v. Mrs Davy. Mrs Meek v. Mrs St. George, Mrs J. Duncan v. Mrs P. Joblin.
