JUGOSLAV FORCES
RESISTING FIERCELY (Rec. 11 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 4. A communique from the headquarters of the Jugoslav forces states: "Three German divisions, supported by tanks and aeroplanes, launched on December 2 what appeared to be a general offensive against our positions in a western Moravia valley. Jugoslav forces under General Mikhailovitch are resisting furious enemy onslaughts successfully, though in the sector south of Uzice enemy tank attacks obliged one of our units to withdraw. Our partisans carried out several successful operations in the enemy's rear Our troops are in high spirits. Local operations continue as usual in Bosnia and Montenegro."
