Ward 10—6. E. Naylor has the next challenge. Lawn Tennis.—At Omakau on Saturday the Omakau A team defeated Clyde by 9 sets to 7. In the B Grade section Omakau (7 sets) were defeated by Matakanui (9 sets) on the latter’s courts. As Becks .defaulted to Poolburn No. 1, and the Poolburn No. 2 team had a bye, a match was played between the Poolburn teams, Poolburn No. 1 winning 9—7.
