WAITATI GAME FARM

REPORT TO ACCLIMATISATION SOCIETY Reports received at a meeting last night of the Otago Acclimatisation Society indicated that the work at the society's game farm at Waitati is going on satisfactorily. Mallard duck eggs were hatching, it was stated, 140 eggs being under hens and about 100 under ducks. Only 22 of 152 eggs placed in an incubator had hatched, but it was believed that a thunder storm had been responsible for spoiling many of the batch.
