VISIT TO DUNEDIN ARRIVAL THIS AFTERNOON ROUND OF ENGAGEMENTS The Prime Minister, Mr Fraser, accompanied by Mrs Fraser, will arrive by the express at 4.18 this afternoon on a visit to Dunedin. Their itinerary is as follows: — To-night 8 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.: Civic reception at the Concert Chamber. The speakers wiW be the Mayor (Mr A. H. Allen), Mr J. W. Munro, M.P., and Mr W. Downie Stewart, as well as the Prime Minister, who will reply. A short concert programme,will be presented. The Prime Minister has expressed a wish that as many members as possible of the Home Guard, the Emergency Precautions Service, the Women's War Service Auxiliary, the New Zealand (Lady. Galway) Guild, and patriotic workers generally will attend the function. To-morrow--10.30 a.m.: Visit to the Centennial Memorial.

12.45 p.m.: Guest at luncheon of* the Rotary Club. 1 p.m.: Mrs Fraser will be the guest at luncheon of the Mayoress and others at the Otago Women's Club. Afternoon.— The Prime Minister will attend the Summer Show of the Otago A. and P. Society. Night: The Prime Minister will attend a meeting with representatives from the various trade unions. Thursday

10 a.m.: Visit to the shipbuilding yards at Port Chalmers. ■...■■■. . 1 p.m.: Attend a luncheon tendered by the Dunedin Chamber, of Compierce 2.50:' Visit to the Peninsula, including the albatross's nesting place at the 7.30 "p.m.: Visit to the premises of Cadbury Fry Hudson. Ltd., where the staff will be seen at work producing goods for war purposes. • _.' v 8.45 p.m.: Inspection by the Prime Minister, who will be accompanied by the Minister of Defence, Mr F. Jones, of the Sea Cadets in the Garrison Hall. It is hoped that it will also be found possible for the Prime Minister tp visit the basement of the Town Hall, where the Mayoress's Patriotic Committee , and the New Zealand Lady Galway Guild will be engaged on patriotic work.
