: FAIR TO FINE Forecast for Gta*o.—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Moderate'to fresh north-easterly to northerly winds, with some coastal mist or fog, but weather otherwise fair to fine and mild.. Farther Outlook.—A change to westerly or south-westerly winds, accompanied by showers and cooler temperatures by Wednesday. Weather In Dunedin.—The weather in Dunedin yesterday was fine, with bright sunshine throughout the day, and warm temperatures. A slight north-westerly breeze was blowing. The maximum temperature was 63 degrees Barometric pressure fell steadily during the day. and the reading at midnight was 29.70 inches (1006 millibars).
