ART SOCIETY'S EXHIBITION

The unusually large attendances at the >Pioneer Hall indicate the keen public interest in the display of paintings now on view. The section of children's drawings has been fully appreciated by the pupils of the numerous schools who have already visited the hall, including those from the Art and Technical, Normal, Inter mediate. Maori Hill, Pine Hill, St. Hilda's and Christian Brothers' Schools. The series of public .lectures was continued on Friday by Mr G. Tovey, who spoke on the children's drawings, and Dr A. H. McLintock will resume to-day, his subject being the black and white exhibits. Intending visitors are reminded that the exhibition is in its last week and that it will close on Saturday afternoon.
