WOMEN BOWLERS
Members of the Leith Ladies’ Bowling Club spent a pleasant time on Wednesday afternoon, the occasion being the opening of the playing season. Progressive doubles were played, and a dainty afternoon tea was provided. The president. Mrs Birrell, welcomed the ladies and presented the prizes, which had been given by her. The winners were Miss Haney (lead) Mrs Stinson (skip); runners-up, Mrs Dale (lead). Mrs Lawson (skip). Lucky number, Mrs Stinson.
