MANUFACTURERS' ASSOCIATION

NEW ROOMS OPENED MR COATES OFFICIATES Members of the Dunedin Manufacturers’ Association gathered at the new offices in the Central Chambers, Bond .street, last evening, to witness the opening of the new rooms by Mr J. G. Coates, a member of the War Cabinet. The president of the association, Mr J. C. H. Somerville, was chairman at the ceremony. Declaring the rooms opened, Mr Coates congratulated the association on the forward move it had made, and wished it continued success. He stressed the necessity for manufacturers to co-operate in their mutual interest. After the rooms had been opened, Mr Coates was the first person to sign the visitors’ book.
