BRITISH TANK WORKERS
TRIBUTE TO THE RUSSIANS “ MAGNIFICENT STRUGGLE ” (Rcc. 8 p.m.t RUGBY. Oct. 13.* The following resolution was adopted at one of the biggest Ministry of Supply tank factories and broadcast to Moscow;—“We, the workers in a ‘V’ tank shop, can find no words to express our admiration of the magnificent struggle which you Soviet people have waged alone for 17 weeks against the common enemy. Inspired by your glorious example, we are determined to make the greatest efforts to increase the output of tanks so urgently required and to see that we in Britain play our part in the struggle on a scale which the pact between our two countries demands. The forces of Fascism are tremendously powerful, but complete and united action of the an:iFascist forces can speed the day when these barbaric forces are destroyed. For our part we- will do all that is humanly possible to secure this end.’’
