PUBLIC NOTICES -WORTH OTAGO FUND FOR SOLDIERS’ - GIFT PARCELS The purpose of this appeal, which we are making by request, and on behalf of the North Otago Patriotic'Committee, is to provide a fund which can be used, and will be used, solely and entirely, for the benefit of our own North Otago Boys, as they leave for service in the various armed forces of the Empire. It has been an established practice, and one that is very much appreciated, since the first draft left for camp, to hand to each soldier a parcel which contains an assortment of varied and useful articles. . , These parcels have been handed to the boys « t . the conclusion .offtor'fi’na'l to which all in uniform are invited previous to their returning to camp leave.
