Aircraftman Aubrey T. Ranee, of Luton, considers himself the most fortunate of service hitch-hikers in England. On his way home from a West Country train in® station he made the familiar thumb sign as a car approached. It stopped, and. to his amazement, he saw the passengers were Queen Mary and the Duchess of Kent. Not only did the Royal party give him a lift, but insisted on his sitting with them instead of with the chauffeur. He travelled with them for twentv miles into Marlborough. His good fortune continued when hailing another car. The occupant took him on to London and entertained hilh to a dinner at an hotel. Kaitangata Coal always gives satisfac-tion-obtainable from all coal merchants. Advt.
