"BOMBER COMMAND"
AIR MINISTRY BOOKLET FORTY SEPARATE EDITIONS (Rec. 8 p.m.) RUGBY, Oct. 7. Although 300.000 copies were available, the Air Ministry booklet, " Bomber Command," was practically sold out on the day of publication. Arrangements are being made to publish throughout the world 40 separate editions, and it is proposed to print it in more than 15 centres in over 25 . languages. Letter press, photographs and in some cases advance copies were despatched some time ago to all printing centres. In addition to being printed in English. " Bomber Command " is likely to appear in Russian, French, Dutch, Czech, Polish, Afrikaans, Yiddish, German, Swedish, Spanish, Brazilian, Portuguese, Arabic, Persian, Greek, Italian, Chinese and Japanese, as well as a number of the languages of India. Arrangements have been made for the publication of an edition in the United States, and all the necessary material has been flown to Moscow to enable the Soviet Government to produce and distribute a Russian edition. Editions in nine languages are likely to be produced in Cairo for distribution throughout the Middle East and beyond.
