CONCERT PARTY
VISIT TO WAKARI HOSPITAL The Roslyn Presbyterian' Choir, under the direction of Mr J. Paterson, and with assisting performers, entertained the patients at Wakari Hospital last Wednesday night. Partsongs by the choir were rendered effectively, and included “The Chase,” “The Scottish Blue Bell,” “Moonlight,” “Shepherds’ Song,” “Spring Song,” and “To the Death.” Other items were songs by Miss Eilene Gillies, Betty Nicholls, and Mr J. Paterson; duet, “ The Crookit Bawbee,” Miss Betty Nicholls and Mr J. Paterson: pianoforte duet, Misses E. Williamson and Margaret Gardner; humorous recitations, Mrs M. Oliver; and violin solos, Mr R. Pettitt. Miss E, Williamson was the accompanist. Thanks to the performers was expressed by Mr Steven.
