A TOTAL BLACK-OUT
KANSAS CITY’S EXPERIENCE POWER PLANT STRIKE KANSAS CITY (Missouri), Sept. 17. This city of 500.000 people was totally blacked out from midnight to 4 a.m. by an unexpected strike at the power plant. Power was partially restored only after the Governor had ordered the home guard to take over the plant and restore the services immediately by whatever means necessary.
