It was held by permission of .he Duke of Norfolk, and the proceeds were devoted to the Duchess's War Emergency Fund. , •''•■* Sapber Kilmartin won the 12-inch Standing Chop in 28sec. with Sapper Ritchie second and Lieutenant Chandler third? The Underhand Chop was also won by Sapper Kilmartin in 36sec, with Lieutenant Chandler second. A local man who has been tree-felling with the New Zealanders showed good style, but he was unable to rival the performances of the men from the Dominion.
