WHERE THE SHIPS WILL BE LAUNCHED.-—An indication of the progress which has been made in the erection of the shipyards at Port Chalmers is given in this picture of the building where work will proceed simultaneously on two ships. The slipways which will enable the vessels to be launched will, be constructed at this end of the building after the necessary excavation has been carried out.
