AIR RAID TERROR

CHUNGKING BOMBED A SUSTAINED ATTACK NEW YORK, (Rec. 0.5 a.m.) Aug. 12. The Chungking correspondent of the New York Times says a thunderstorm ended the worst ordeal by air bombardment Chunking has ever endured. Japanese raids had gone on with only short intervals since Friday.
