ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
INJURY TO EYE Robert Fullerton, a plumber, aged 27 years, residing at 50 Magdala street, Tainui, suffered an injury to the eye yesterday when he was struck by a piece of wire in the course of his work. He was admitted to hospital at 2 p.m. FALL DOWN STEPS Margaret Matthews, an elderly married woman, residing at Karitane, suffered concussion when she fell down two steps at her home yesterday. She was admitted to hospital at 6 p.m.
